On Monday, December 31, 2018 at 01:42 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an aided infant inside of 1345 Southern Boulevard, Apartment 2D, within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 1-month-old child, unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma. EMS responded to the location and transported the aided infant to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
