The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is sought in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at approximately 1535 hours, an unknown male individual did walk into 411 E. 138th Street (South Bronx Pharmacy) and proceeded to take possession of a purse that was unknowingly dropped by a 74-year-old female victim containing her ID, social security card, debit cards and $260 cash.

The individual then fled on foot, eastbound on E. 138th Street.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as a male with medium skin tone, approximately 50-60 years old, 5’8” tall, weighing 160 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and a blue surgical mask.
