The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached video clip and photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a forcible touching incident, that occurred within the confines of the 1st Precinct / Transit District 2 in Manhattan.
The following was reported to the police.
On June 21, 2020, at approximately 2300 hours, a 48-year-old female was exiting from the 1 train at the Houston Street subway station walking up the stairs, when an unidentified male grabbed her buttocks two times.
The victim went to record the individual outside of the station and he tried to knock the camera out of her hand. He displayed a weapon and threatened to stab her.
The individual then fled down the stairs toward the northbound 1 train.
The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
