Help Identify A Bank Robbery Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached video for a bank robbery that occurred within the 45 Precinct in Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on October 17, 2019 at 1548 hours the individual entered a Chase Bank, located at 3008 Buhre Avenue, and handed the bank teller a note demanding money while simulating a weapon under his sweatshirt. The teller complied and the individual fled the scene.

The individual is described as a white male, 25-30 years-old, 5’8” and 160 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a black Champion hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
