This third-annual intergenerational event celebrates our environment and the South Bronx community.

The Earth Fest will help raise awareness on many sustainability issues and will include information and activities on recycling, reuse and many other green initiatives.

There will be numerous youth performances, including dance, and an eco-centered music contest. Bring unwanted textiles and electronics to recycle.

The event will take place as follows:

Saturday, April 24, 2010, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
St. Mary’s Park
St. Ann’s Ave and 147th Street
Bronx. NY 10455

The following is Veroncia Buapim’s Interview with John Johnson about the 2010 South Bronx Earth Fest:

Jonas Bronck is the pseudonym under which we publish and manage the content and operations of The Bronx Daily.™ | - the largest daily news publication in the borough of "the" Bronx with over 1.5 million annual readers. Publishing under the alias Jonas Bronck is our humble way of paying tribute to the person, whose name lives on in the name of our beloved borough.
