Paramedics responded to a school in Bronx where pepper spray was released Tuesday morning, the FDNY said.

According to the Department of Education, a student at In-Tech Academy on Tibbett Avenue apparently released pepper spray in the hallway shortly after 11 a.m.

Seven students between the ages of 12 and 14 were treated by paramedics and may be taken to the hospital for evaluation, DOE spokeswoman Marge Feinberg said. A school safety agent who wasn’t feeling well may also be transported, Feinberg said.

In-Tech Academy teachers students in Grades 6-12.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
