An investigation was under way Tuesday, following a car-into-pedestrian crash that left a man dead in Bronx.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Monday at Taylor and Soundview avenues, in the Clason Point section of Bronx, police said.
Responding officers found the 75-year-old man unresponsive at the scene. He was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center, police said.
The man’s identification was being withheld Tuesday evening, pending family notification.
Police did not indicate whether the crash was a hit-and-run. The investigation was ongoing Tuesday evening.
