On Thursday, October 07, 2021, at approximately 0038 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 469 W. 164th Street, within the confines of the 33rd Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the back and ankle, lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
