At Danza Fiesta, sharing Puerto Rican folkloric arts goes beyond the stage. Through our educational programs and school residencies, we are bringing music, dance, and cultural traditions directly to students across New York City.

Throughout October, our Intro to Bomba residencies reached students at Manhattan Village Academy, ACTION Academy, KIPP Inquire and Global Learning Collaborative engaging over approximately 400 students.

Each of these experiences reflects our ongoing commitment to sharing Puerto Rican cultural traditions with new generations, creating opportunities for students to connect with the music, movement, and stories that keep these traditions alive.

And now, we are bringing that celebration to the South Bronx.

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, join us for the 17th Annual South Bronx Folk Festival at Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture.

This year’s festival celebrates the drum and its powerful role in connecting the musical and dance traditions of Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Come experience the rhythms, the traditions, and the community on Saturday, November 14, 2026, starting 3:00 p.m. at Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, 450 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451.

Admission is free, but reservations are required. To reserve tour tickets, please visit here.

From the classroom to the community, we look forward to celebrating with you!
