On Sunday, January 17, 2021, at approximately 0107 hours, police responded to a call of a person shot in front of 1779 Fulton Avenue within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his neck, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 27-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 2130 hours, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct.

- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
