Pursuant to an ongoing New York City Police Department investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1510 hours within the confines of the 41st Precinct in connection to an attempted rape, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

It was reported to police that on Friday, January 08, 2021, at 1900 hours, the 33-year-old female victim was walking up the stairwell of her apartment building, located within the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx, when an unknown individual grabbed her from behind and attempted to rape her.
While the individual was attempting to unzip his pants the victim bit his right hand.
The individual then fled the location to parts unknown. The victim was not injured, but was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / North Central Bronx for evaluation.
The individual is described as an adult male, approximately in his 20s, with a thin build and light complexion.
He was last seen wearing a black winter hat, black jacket, black pants with a white stripe on the side and black shoes.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
