On Friday, January 15, 2021, at approximately 1655 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided at 393 Powell Street, within the confines of the 73rd Precinct / PSA 2 in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 78-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, laying on the floor in the hallway of her apartment, with a cord around her neck.
EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
