College students joined different organizations from around Bronx Sunday to spruce up Claremont Park.
People planted bulbs, restored flower beds and put protective fencing around trees.
Free health screenings, a library card enrollment area, and fun activities for children were also featured at the event.
Organizers and volunteers hope to maintain the upkeep so that everyone can enjoy the park.
