Celebrate The Chanukah Miracle With Dental Volunteers For Israel

Just as the tiny jar of oil in the days of the Maccabees miraculously burned for eight days, Dental Volunteers for Israel (DVI) has been creating miracles for over 40 years — bringing healthy smiles, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Founded by Trudi Birger, a Holocaust survivor who vowed that no child would ever be left behind, Dental Volunteers for Israel (DVI) has stayed true to that promise for four decades.

Every year, DVI provides:

  • free, high-quality dental care;
  • oral-health education;
  • compassionate support to Jerusalem’s most vulnerable populations:
    • children from underserved, low-income families;
    • at-risk youth;
    • new immigrants;
    • women and children living in shelters;
    • Holocaust survivors and elderly residents;
    • lone soldiers.

Chanukah teaches us that even a small light can shine across generations. At DVI, your support helps us keep that light burning — one child, one smile, one story at a time.

Your gift to DVI becomes a miracle that lasts far beyond eight nights. To donate, please visit here.

Our clinic runs on a modest budget, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of supporters like you. Still, we rely on ongoing help to cover essential operating costs and keep providing care to those who need it most.

In times like these, your support truly makes a difference.

Your gift helps us continue offering high-quality, compassionate dental treatment to some of Israel’s most vulnerable children, at-risk youth, new immigrants, women and children in shelters, Holocaust survivors and the elderly, and lone soldiers.

All donations from the United States are fully tax-deductible through American Dental Volunteers for Israel (AMDVI), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Now more than ever, these communities need a steady, caring hand.

We warmly invite you to consider making a contribution that will help us continue delivering the professional and life-changing care they depend on—every single day.
