On Friday, July 28, 2023, at approximately 1732 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a assault in progress inside of an apartment at 365 E. 204th Street, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
At the location, the victim became engaged in a verbal dispute with an unknown individual.
As the dispute escalated, the individual displayed a knife and stabbed the victim approximately eleven (11) times.
The individual fled the location in an unknown direction on foot.
Upon arrival officers observed a 21-year-old male with multiple stab wounds about the body.
EMS responded and transported the aided victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
