Twenty homes were left without water after a main broke in the Crotona East section of Bronx.

A 12-inch water main broke about 4:00 p.m. between Freeman Street and Hoe Avenue, sending water flowing down the street, according to officials.

FDNY officials say there was minor street flooding and damage.
