Bronx Trio Charged With Murder, Attempted Murder

On Sunday September 16, 2018 at approximately 0422 hours police responded to a 911 call of two males assaulted in front of 2026 Westchester Avenue within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Bronx.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 34-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the torso and a 35-year-old male with a stab wound to the torso.

EMS responded and transported both males to Jacobi Hospital where the 34-year-old male succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as follows:

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following two individuals have been arrested and charged on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 00:05 a.m.:

Frederick Strachan, 27
1236 Prospect Avenue
Bronx, NY 10459


Edward Binyard, 26
749 Taylor Avenue
Bronx, NY 10473


Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individual has been arrested and charged on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 05:00 p.m.:

Dwight Brown, 27
706 Soundview Avenue
Bronx, NY 10473
