An accident on the New England Thruway in the Bronx has backed up traffic in the southbound lanes.

The accident involves a car and an overturned van.

It occurred at 07:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 08, 2012 between the Hutchinson River Parkway and Conner Street Exit 13.

According to FDNY officials three people suffered minor injuries.
