Nearly two dozen people were hurt when a school bus and a car collided in the Belmont section of Bronx on earlier this afternoon, authorities said.
The accident took place on Southern Boulevard and East 185th Street just before 4:00 p.m., the FDNY said.
Five people were rushed to Jacobi and St. Barnabas hospitals with serious injuries.
Another seventeen were treated for minor injuries, according to the FDNY.
