Police have arrested a Bronx man in connection with a robbery at a Great Neck TD Bank earlier this year.

James Pope, 35, of 721 Tinton Avenue in Bronx, was arrested April 19 at 10:45 a.m. in Queens without incident and charged with robbery third degree, according to police.

During the incident, police say a black male subject, wearing a black and green jacket and a black knit hat entered the TD Bank, at 2 Great Neck Road, and threatened to shoot a 30-year-old female teller, but did not display a weapon, according to police. The teller complied with the robber’s demands and handed over an undetermined amount of money.

At the time of the bank robbery there were four employees and one customer in the bank. No injuries were reported.

Polk was additionally charged with robbery second degree for the robbery of the TD Bank at 855 Franklin Avenue in Garden City on January 30, 2013.

Polk will be arraigned at County Court in Mineola on April 19, 2013.
