A Bronx man will appear in court next month accused of stealing the identification of a Florida man and withdrawing $4,800 from his bank account, police report.

Nathan Fitzpatrick, 52, was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, first-degree identity theft, third-degree grand larceny, felonies, and second-degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor.

According to Hyde Park police, a two-week investigation revealed that Fitzpatrick stole the identity of a 51-year-old Florida man and then used fraudulent identification to withdraw money from his account at Chase Bank on Route 9.

Fitzpatrick was already serving out a sentence at Dutchess County Jail on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest. His bail was reset at $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Fitzpatrick was scheduled to appear in Town of Hyde Park Court on January 10, 2012.
