Arian Medina, 23, Arrested For The Murder Of Jose Garcia, 60

On Monday June 17, 2019 at approximately 0837 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed inside of 724 E. 220th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, police observed a 60-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with stab wounds about the body.

EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

A 23-year-old male, known to the victim, was taken into custody from the scene, with charges pending.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 23-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, June 17, 2019, at 1600 hours.
