On Monday June 17, 2019 at approximately 0837 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed inside of 724 E. 220th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 60-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with stab wounds about the body.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
A 23-year-old male, known to the victim, was taken into custody from the scene, with charges pending.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
