On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at approximately 1457 hours, officers responded to a 911 call for a male, shot at 2784 Randall Avenue, within the confines of the 45th Precinct / PSA 8 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head in front of the location.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition.
On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
