The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the male individual in the attached surveillance photo who is wanted in connection for a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 40 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at approximately 1240 hours, in the vicinity of 3rd Avenue and East 149th Street, a 78 year old female victim was walking at the location when she was approached by an unknown male individual who snatched her necklace and fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim was not reported injured. The victim’s necklace had an estimated value of $1,000.
The individual is described as a male, White, 20-30 years of age, last seen wearing all gray clothing.
