On Monday, July 28, 2025, at approximately 0600 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of two males, shot in front of 500 Brush Avenue, within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and buttocks and a 22-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the armpit and shoulder.
EMS responded and transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals /Jacobi in critical condition and later succumbed to their injuries and pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the victims have been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
