On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at approximately 1728 hours, opposite 2523 Aqueduct Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx, an individual was driving a motorcycle on a sidewalk when he was struck with a foreign object and subsequently collided with a parked vehicle.
The male sustained body trauma as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Following an ongoing police investigation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 0800 hours, the following 36-year-old male individual was arrested and charged within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

NYPD Sergeant
Charges:
- assault;
- manslaughter;
- criminally negligent homicide.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
