On Monday, August 18, 2025, at approximately 2234 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of 3322 3rd Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
