5 Men Arrested For The Murder Of Xavier Goodson, 32

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, at approximately 1605 hours, police responded to a 911 of a male, shot inside of 1101 E. 231st Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, a 32-year-old male was discovered unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen.

EMS responded and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 5 male individuals, ages 22, 20, 20 and 20 respectively, were arrested and charged on March 21, 2025 within the confines of the 47th Precinct.

Charges:

  • murder in the 2nd degree;
  • manslaughter in the 1st degree;
  • criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree (2 counts).

The investigation remains ongoing.
