The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an attempted grand larceny incident, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at approximately 1804 hours, inside of 1213 Jerome Avenue, the individual attempted to cash a US Treasury check in the amount of $1,700. The suspect presented the cashier with a forged driver’s license, along with the check, which was recognized as fake and confiscated by the cashier. The suspect then fled in a white colored “Jeep” SUV with NY State plates in an unknown direction.
