Woman Shot Dead On Bronx Sidewalk

The NYPD is investigating the shooting death of a woman found on the sidewalk in Bronx.

Police say 31-year-old Dune Janelle Jacobs was found unresponsive on East 213^th Street and Carlisle Place shortly before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say she had a gunshot wound to the head.

She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests.
