On Friday, June 26, 2020 at approximately 2303 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot near the intersection of E. 163 Street and Tinton Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male rear passenger of a livery cab, with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
