On Wednesday, January 05, 2022, at approximately 1159 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a possible crime at 1277 Morris Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 49-year-old male inside of an apartment on the floor with multiple stab wounds.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the individual deceased on scene.
A male was taken into custody at the location, charges are pending.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
