On Saturday June 16, 2019, at approximately 0056 hours, police responded to a fight in progress in the vicinity of East 169 Street and Prospect Avenue, in the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, the officers encountered an unconscious and unresponsive 40-year-old male laying on the street with no visible signs of trauma. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the male to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following person of interest wanted for questioning in connection to the above incident:
- male, Hispanic, approximately 5’7″, fled in a red vehicle southbound on Prospect Avenue.
