The 19-year-old victim got into an argument with a fellow passenger on a BX4 bus as it rolled along Westchester Avenue near Pugsley Street in Parkchester about 3:15 p.m. Friday.
As their dispute escalated, the man pulled a razor from his waistband and lunged at the teen, repeatedly slashing her face and head. He ran off when the bus came to a stop.
Medics took the teen to Jacobi Medical Center with cuts to her face and a deep gash to her head.
Cops on Saturday released an image of the suspect. He is described as black, in his mid-20s, about 5-feet-10 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black do-rag and a black hooded jacket.
