On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at approximately 2325 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault inside 2817 Foster Avenue, within the confines of the 67 Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County, where she was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
