Police are trying to track down a man who slashed a woman inside an elevator in Bronx.
It happened at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in an apartment building in the vicinity of East 156th Street and 33rd Avenue in the Melrose section.
Surveillance video shows the suspect turn and swipe at the victim as he is leaving the elevator.
The woman was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where she was treated for cuts to her face.
The suspect fled the scene. He is described as a black male who is approximately 40 years-old, 5’8″ and as last seen wearing a black jacket.
