On Friday, July 05, 2019 at approximately 0402 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1528 Hoe Avenue (Vyse Houses), within the confines of the 42nd Precinct (PSA#7) in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head and a gunshot wound to the leg.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
On Monday, August 10, 2020, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The incident is now classified a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
