On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at approximately 1933 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call for an assault at E..149th Street and Third Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 51-year-old male with a stab wound to the abdomen.
EMS responded and transported the aided to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 52-year-old maleindividual was arrested and charged on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 0055 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

- murder;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
