The following was reported to the New York City Police Department in connection with an attempted rape pattern, which occurred within the confines of the 46th and 44th Precincts in the Bronx.
Incident #1 (46th Precinct): It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at approximately 1800 hours, inside of a residential building in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and E. 177th Street, the unidentified male approached the victim, a 29-year-old female, and forcibly touched her private area.
The victim resisted and the unidentified male fled on foot.
Incident #2 (44th Precinct): It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at approximately 1850 hours, in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and E. 174th Street, the unidentified male approached the 39-year-old female victim from behind. The male forced the victim to the ground, pulled her pants down, and attempted to sexually assault her while grabbing her private area.
The victim resisted and the unidentified male fled on foot.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 37-year-old male individual was arrested on Monday, February 22, 2021, at 1715 hours.

Charges:
- sexual abuse;
- attempted rape;
- forcible touching (3 counts).
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
