On Sunday, May 5, 2024, at approximately 1452 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an aided petson, located at 1675 Lafayette Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct / PSA 8 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma about the body.
EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner has deemed this incident a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
