Queers For Palestine: How Radical Leftist Identity Politics Collapses Under Reality

In today’s increasingly chaotic political climate, few examples better demonstrate the absolute collapse of rational thought on the left than fringe groups like “Queers for Palestine.” These organizations — whether calling themselves Queers for Palestine, Gays for Gaza, or similar labels — expose the dangerous absurdity of identity politics when driven to its logical extreme.

The idea that homosexual activists in the West would openly support, wave flags for, and align themselves with movements that glorify Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Islamic terrorist groups should, by any measure of sanity, be unthinkable. Yet here we are.

The Brutal Reality of Islam and Homosexuality

To state the obvious: under Hamas-controlled Gaza, Iran’s theocracy, or Taliban-run Afghanistan, homosexuality is not merely frowned upon — it is criminalized, persecuted, and often punished by death.

In many Islamist societies, homosexual men are literally thrown from rooftops. Beheadings, hangings, and public executions are not relics of medieval history; they are present-day horrors. Even basic human dignity for LGBTQ individuals does not exist under these regimes. There are no “Pride Parades in Gaza.” There is no “safe space” for same-sex couples in Tehran. There are no rainbow flags flying in Kabul.

And yet, in Western cities — New York, San Francisco, London, Paris — activists proudly march under banners declaring “Queers for Palestine.” The sheer contradiction is mind-boggling. It is akin to Jews marching in favor of Nazi Germany in 1942 or African-Americans campaigning for the Confederacy during the Civil War.

The Western Liberal Bubble

How does this insanity happen? The answer lies in the toxic brew of academic indoctrination, leftist groupthink, and the cult of victimhood politics.

Western universities, dominated by radical professors, have pushed a simplistic worldview: all oppression is the fault of the West, and all non-Western movements — no matter how violent or barbaric — must be romanticized as “resistance.”

Thus, Hamas — a U.S.- and EU-designated terrorist organization that murders civilians, uses children as human shields, and calls in its charter for the extermination of Jews — is reframed as a “freedom movement.” Gaza, despite being governed by one of the most repressive Islamist regimes on earth, is painted as a “victimized homeland.”

Into this intellectual cesspool stumble LGBTQ activists who have been conditioned to equate their own Western struggles with “global liberation movements.” Without stopping to think, they slap a rainbow flag next to a Palestinian flag, blind to the fact that if they actually lived under Hamas, they would face imprisonment, torture, or execution.

The Dangerous Naivety

It is not merely delusional; it is suicidal. To stand with those who would kill you is not activism — it is the ultimate form of Stockholm syndrome.

Western homosexuals enjoy freedoms and protections unimaginable in much of the world: the right to marry, to adopt, to serve openly in the military, to hold public office, and to live without fear of government persecution. Yet instead of defending the civilization that gave them these freedoms, many turn their anger against America, Israel, and the West — the only regions where their lifestyles are not only tolerated but legally protected.

The Left’s Pyramid of Victimhood

At the heart of this madness is the Left’s obsession with ranking victim groups. Palestinians are cast as the ultimate victims, so their cause trumps all others — including gay rights. Western LGBTQ activists, desperate to signal solidarity with “the oppressed,” ignore that Palestinians are oppressed not by Israel, but by their own leaders. Hamas does not fight for freedom; it enforces brutal Islamic law.

This is why you rarely, if ever, hear these activists protest against the Palestinian Authority jailing gays, or Hamas executing them. Their silence is deafening, because acknowledging that truth would shatter their ideological house of cards.

Useful Idiots of Terror

The radicals waving Palestinian flags in New York or London will never be welcomed in Gaza. They will never be protected by Hamas. If they ever set foot in Gaza waving a rainbow banner, they would be lucky to escape with their lives.

Israel vs. Hamas on LGBTQ Rights

Let us be clear: Israel is the only nation in the Middle East where homosexuals can live freely, openly, and safely. Tel Aviv is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world. Same-sex couples live openly, businesses thrive, and parades draw hundreds of thousands.

Contrast that with Gaza, where homosexuality is illegal, punishable by prison or worse. Or with Iran, where thousands have been executed for being gay. Or with Saudi Arabia, where homosexuality carries the death penalty.

Yet somehow, the radical Left paints Israel as the oppressor and Hamas as the liberator. It is a perverse inversion of reality.

The Question of Sanity

So how dumb must one be to join such a movement? The blunt answer: extremely dumb.

To wave a flag for those who would throw you off a rooftop is not merely ignorant — it is delusional. It is a betrayal of logic, a betrayal of self-preservation, and a betrayal of the very freedoms generations fought for.

Groups like “Queers for Palestine” reveal the ultimate flaw in leftist ideology: when intersectionality collides with reality, reality loses.

Conclusion: Wake Up to Reality

The tragedy is that many of these activists are not evil — just indoctrinated, lost, and detached from reality. But their foolishness has consequences. By legitimizing terrorist movements, they embolden the very forces that would destroy not only Israel but also the freedoms of the West itself.

It is time for common sense to prevail. Western homosexuals, like all Westerners, should stand firmly against radical Islam, terrorism, and the ideologies that seek to erase their existence. They should defend America, defend Israel, and defend the values that give them the very rights they cherish.

Because no matter how loudly they chant or how many flags they wave, the truth remains: Hamas and groups like it do not want to be their allies. They want them dead.
