The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is accused of groping a woman in the subway, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.

It happened Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at approximately 7:30 p.m., in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx.
Police say a 25-year-old woman was walking up the stairs to access the downtown D subway train platform at E. Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse when she was approached from behind by the suspect.
Police say he lifted her dress and touched her buttocks.
The suspect then fled on foot back down the stairs.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 30, approximately 6′ tall, wearing an oversized, navy blue bubble-style coat, faded blue jeans, a dark-colored do-rag beneath a Russian-style fur hat with brown fur trimming.
