It was reported to police that on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at approximately 0255 hours, a 23-year-old male victim had a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual at 1179 Grinnell Place, within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
The individual displayed a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, in critical but stable condition.
The victim succumbed to his injuries on December 13, 2024.
The incident has been deemed a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 26-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1510 hours, within the confines of the 41st Precinct.

- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
