Parkchester’s Annual Celebration of Kwanzaa is fast approaching and we need help.

Parkchester’s Annual Celebration Of Kwanzaa

We do not receive any financial resources from grants or from the supportive agencies logos on the flyer. Every year we’ve pulled from the community business, agencies, and companies, etc. but it is not enough for materials, performers, speakers, cooks, and volunteers, etc., to keep the Kwanzaa program running. The Parkchester area community has not held any events that celebrate ethnic cultural, heritage, and traditions from Black folks by Blacks folk’s independent from political or religious institutions with a population of over 40% Black and African Americans we can do better! In the spirit of NIA (Purpose) we can do this please be an example to your children!

We need support from 300 people to donate $5.00 to 10.00 here. Please pass on to your friends and family.

“Creating Unity In The Community” mission is to honor the work of Dr. Maulana Karenga share with the community a universal message that everyone can identify with family traditions. Kwanzaa was developed to reflect  the seven  principles, Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), Imani (Faith) share and enjoy the fruits, labor, and recommitment  to  collective achievement of a better life for family, and  community.

Creating Unity in the Community is appealing for help in preserving Parkchester’s Annual Kwanzaa Observance program.

You can now receive your ticket early; donation is accepted but not required for admission by clicking on to the Eventbrite link here.
