On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at approximately 0600 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male at 1st Avenue and E. 6th Street, within the confines of the 9th Precinct in Manhattan.
EMS responded to the location prior to police arrival and removed an unconscious and unresponsive 37-year-old male with a puncture wound to his chest to Mt. Sinai Beth Israel hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Medical Examiner deemed the above-listed incident a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
