NYC School Construction Authority Breaks Ground On New Playground For P.S. 126 In The Bronx

On Wednesday, September 01, 2021, New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) officials joined Councilmember Vanessa Gibson and other elected officials to break ground on a new playground complex for P.S. 126 (The Marjorie H. Dunbar School).

The SCA will refurbish playground space atop an existing parking lot and rehabilitate the school’s early childhood playground. Amenities will include new layouts for a baseball diamond, basketball courts, tennis courts and a track.

New playground equipment, benches, fencing, and drainage systems will also be installed in addition to security cameras.
