Father Brendan is a pillar of the New York City Community, serving as the pastor of St. Barnabas Church in the Bronx since 2016.
He has a history of chaplaincy, including to the Hyde Park and Staatsburg Fire Departments, where he has proven himself to be an effective educator, counselor, administrator, and public servant. In New York City, he has built a solid track record of building trust and community within the FDNY. As Chaplain to the FDNY Emerald Society, FDNY Holy Name Society, and FDNY G.A.A., he has created strong and meaningful connections among members.
Moreover, his extensive experience in grief and addiction counseling demonstrates his ability to support individuals in crisis. His calm demeanor and compassionate nature have positively impacted the lives of many.
