Nicholas Rappa, 91, Murdered

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a homicide, that occurred within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Tuesday, August 03, 2021, at approximately 1234 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a robbery inside of 2400 Wicham Avenue.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 91-year-old male victim, in the garage, unconscious and unresponsive with injuries to the head.

EMS also responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned adult male, approximately in his 30’s, with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a reflective traffic vest, dark pants with reflective strips, yellow hard hat and hard sneakers.
