On Sunday, January 23, 2022, at approximately 1845 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault at 1219 Adee Avenue, Eastchester Gardens Houses, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 42-year-old male with a stab wound to the left leg.
EMS also responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased on Friday, February 04, 2022.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 44-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.

- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
