Thursday night, the New York City Police Foundation held its annual gala at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. At the Gala, the Foundation recognized brave members of the NYPD for their heroics and public service.

Among the honorees were School Safety agents who supported the Bronx community following the tragic fire on January 09, 2022 that claimed the lives of seventeen people, including eight children. The School Safety agents aided families affected by the fire, including by distributing clothes and food to those displaced.
